Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Ram Janmabhoomi Tour Overview

The "2-Night" Difference

By staying two nights, you witness two sunrises over the Sarayu. The first night is about seeking; the second night is about belonging. You leave not as a visitor who saw a monument, but as a devotee who walked with the shadows of the Ramayana.

Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Ram Janmabhoomi Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Morning: Ram Janmabhoomi & Hanuman Garhi Start early (around 7:00 AM) to beat the heaviest crowds at the Ram Mandir. After darshan, head to Hanuman Garhi. It’s a custom to visit Hanuman first, but logistically, getting the main temple done early is usually smoother.
Midday: Kanak Bhawan & Dashrath Mahal Walk to Kanak Bhawan, a beautiful palace-turned-temple. Just a short distance away is Dashrath Mahal, the site where King Dashrath is said to have resided. The architecture here is stunning for photos.
Evening: Saryu Aarti at Ram Ki Paidi As the sun sets, head to the banks of the Saryu River. The Ram Ki Paidi ghats are lit up beautifully. Watching the evening Aarti here is the perfect way to wrap up the spiritual experience of the city.
Day 2
Morning: Guptar Ghat & Local Breakfast Visit Guptar Ghat, the spot where Lord Rama is said to have taken his final dip. It's much quieter and more scenic than the main city center. Grab some "Kachori-Sabzi" and "Jalebi" from a local vendor before you leave.
Afternoon: The Drive to Prayagraj The drive takes about 3.5 to 4 hours via NH330. Aim to leave by 1:00 PM so you reach Prayagraj by 5:00 PM.
Evening: Civil Lines Exploration After checking into your hotel in Prayagraj, head to Civil Lines. It’s the modern side of the city. Visit El Chico for a classic meal or wander the "Patri" markets for famous Prayagraj snacks like roasted masala guava.
Day 3
Early Morning: Triveni Sangam Be at the Sangam by sunrise (around 5:30 or 6:00 AM). Take a boat out to the point where the Ganga and Yamuna meet. If you plan to take a holy dip, do it here.
Late Morning: Reclining Hanuman & Akbar Fort Right next to the Sangam is the Bade Hanuman Temple, where the idol is in a reclining position. Afterward, visit the Prayagraj Fort. You can see the Akshaya Vat (the indestructible tree) and the Saraswati Koop inside.
Afternoon: Anand Bhawan & Alfred Park Head to Anand Bhawan, the historic home of the Nehru family. It’s now a museum full of Indian independence history. Right next to it is Alfred Park (Chandrashekhar Azad Park), a massive green space where the famous freedom fighter Azad made his final stand.
Evening: Departure Finish your trip with a heavy North Indian Thali before heading to the Prayagraj Junction or the airport.
