Ayodhya and Ram Janmabhoomi Tour Overview

Expanding your stay to 2 Nights and 3 Days allows the initial "crossing over" to deepen into a profound spiritual immersion. In this extended journey, you move beyond the main temples to walk the paths of Lord Ram’s final moments and the silent devotion of his brothers.

Ayodhya and Ram Janmabhoomi Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Afternoon (2:00 PM): Arrive and settle into your hotel. Use this time to disconnect from the digital world and align with the city's rhythm.
Late Afternoon (4:30 PM): Visit Kanak Bhawan (The Golden Palace). Arrive as the evening prayers begin; the palace, gifted to Sita by Kaikeyi, radiates a warmth that feels like a maternal embrace.
Evening (6:30 PM): Head to Ram Ki Paidi for the Sarayu Aarti.
The Devotional Theme: Watch the flames dance on the water. Like the boatman Kewat, let the river carry away your worldly burdens. Floating a diya here is a symbolic act of surrendering your ego to the divine current.
Night: A quiet walk along the illuminated Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, letting the soulful melodies of bhajans fill the air.
Day 2
Sunrise (5:30 AM): The Sarayu Snan (Holy Dip). The water is coldest and purest at dawn. This is not just a bath; it is a ritual of rebirth before meeting the King.
Morning (8:00 AM): Hanuman Garhi. Climb the 76 steps to seek the protection of the "Guard of Ayodhya." It is said one cannot enter Ram’s presence without Hanuman’s blessing.
Mid-Morning (10:00 AM): Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. Standing before the Ram Lalla (infant Ram) is often an overwhelming emotional experience. The grand sandstone architecture serves as a silent testament to centuries of longing and final homecoming.
Afternoon (1:30 PM): Visit Dashrath Mahal, the original royal seat. Walk through the courtyards where the four brothers once played, feeling the echoes of a father’s love for his sons.
Late Afternoon (4:00 PM): Explore Mani Parvat. Legend says this hill fell from the Sanjeevani mountain carried by Hanuman. It offers a panoramic view of the temple city as the sun begins to dip.
Evening: Spend a quiet hour at Nageshwarnath Temple, established by Ram’s son, Kush. It is one of the oldest structures, linking the Treta Yuga to the present.
Day 3
Morning (8:00 AM): Drive to Guptar Ghat (approx. 10km away).
The Significance: This is the most poignant spot in Ayodhya. It is the site where Lord Ram performed his Jal Samadhi (final departure from the earthly realm). The silence here is heavy with peace.
Mid-Morning (10:30 AM): Visit Nandigram (Bharat Kund). This is where Bharat lived as an ascetic for 14 years, ruling Ayodhya by placing Ram's sandals on the throne. It is a place that celebrates the ultimate sacrifice of a brother.
Arrive at hotel as per your schedule and be ready for departure
Departure (4 PM onwards): Head to the airport or station.
